WHO I AM
My name is Jesús. I have a normal Monday-to-Friday job and a van with too many kilometres on Saturdays. I never show my face on the channel, and not to look mysterious: the places I visit are better off without faces. They are the protagonists.
I started in September 2024 with a borrowed camera and a dying memory card that only survived 13 photos in the turbine factory. Out of that failure came the law of the channel: 13 photos per site, not one more. When you can only shoot 13 times, you choose. And when you choose, you look.
The thing about the S
"Esplora" is not a spelling mistake, it is a statement: I mark no X on any map. X is for treasure, for destination, for "here it is". I esplore with an S — S for silence: I go in quiet, I come out quiet and the place stays exactly as it was. (It is also true that the domain with an X was taken. Both things can be true.)
The gear
A good flashlight and a backup flashlight · gloves · boots with real soles · an FFP3 mask (asbestos does not show up in the videos, but it is there) · the usual camera · and el Rubio, who technically is not gear but carries the drone and the worst jokes in Spain.
The usual questions
— Can you send me the location?
No. Not by DM, not "just to me", not even if you swear you respect places. Everybody swears.
— Can I come with you?
No. We are two already and we argue plenty.
— Do you pick locks?
Never. If it is locked, it is told from outside. There are plenty of places with the door open.
— Has anything strange ever happened to you?
Until July 2026 I would have said
the strangest thing was a wild boar in a cinema. Now I have a different answer.
— Why don't you upload the palacete video?
Read the entry. It is not that I will not. It is that it will not let me.
Contact
For collaborations, press, or to tell me about a place (no exact coordinates, a photo is enough): jesus@urbex13.com. If you write to me about the palacete, put in the subject line the word I do not write. I will know you read to the end.
